Beginner Driver Training Course for teens is based on the Ohio Driver Training Curriculum total 32 hours.
24 hours classroom & 8 hours behind the wheel driving lessons per student.
All lessons are to be completed within 6 months of starting driving course.
Did you know teens can start the class room portion of the driver training course - prior to getting their permit ?
Teens may start the driver training course as early as 15 year and 5 months. Getting the permit as early as 15 years and 6 months. Persons who wish to get their license prior to age 18, must have their permit a minimum of 6 months driving experience totalling at least 50 hours with parent/guardian supervision, and the driver training course. We suggest teens start the driver training course early in their learning to drive phase. Please do not wait til permit is about to expire, our driving lessons may be booked weeks in advance.
Adult REMEDIAL class : 8 hour class
for persons over age 18.
Usually taken for 12 point suspension
May be completed by persons with a juvenille suspension that is at least age 19
2 pt credit - extends BMV 12 pt suspension to 14 pts before licensis is suspended
Maybe taken as a defensive driver training class for persons over age 18 wanting a license or refresher class.
NEWARK LOCATION usually 2nd SATURDAY of each month
Juvenile Driver Program : 6 hour class
for persons under age 19,
who lost their license prior age 18 and is required by the state to complete class to reinstate their driving privledges.

NEWARK LOCATION usually 3rd SATURDAY of each month.
A certificate of completion is issued at the end of class for each student who sucessfully completes the course. this form becomes your responsibility to submit the form to the Courts and/or OHIO BMV for license reinstatement.
